Budding Melbourne filmmaker Jesse O'Brien begun by means of constructing a space ship in his lounge.
"We spent all our spare time for 3 or four months slowly building this ship out of cardboard and scouting highway corners on the way home from our jobs finding junk," he says. "there have been vacuums in there, historical typewriters, piping and lots of cardboard boxes."

"It has its personal entertaining tone however, on the equal time, or not it's heavily drawn from an awful lot my general movies," O'Brien says. "I don't consider that you may create anything else without borrowing a bit bit from the things you love."
He shot desolate tract scenes in Coober Pedy and interiors in "our cinematographer's sister's shed" in a Sunshine backyard.
